Uninor / Telenor DND activation Procedure:

For activating the DND in your mobile number there is some procedure you may have to follow it.

• Type a text message in the following format.
• Send this text to the 1909 number.
• You will get the conformation message.

There are two categories in DND activation they are: full activation/ full blocking and partial activation/partial blocking. Once you register onto the NCPR registry then neither a call nor a message comes from the Telemarketing agencies. Full Blocking / Full Activation of DND on Telenor SIM:

Full blocking refers to stop all promotional calls and disturbed messages from the commercial ad agencies. This full blocking can take place in either by calling or by SMS shown as below.

Full blocking by SMS

This is a procedure for a subscriber to activate his/her number for DND service. It was done by simply SMS like this, SMS><Space><START 0 to 1909. After this message, the subscriber can receive a unique confirmation message and then his/her number will be getting activated for DND service.

Full blocking by voice call

It was simple, make a call to the customer care number 1909 and carefully listen to the instructions and give a response to the related one until you reach the option of DND service and end the call with accepting the activation of DND.

Partial Blocking/ Partial Activation DND to Telenor Number:

This is another category that you can choose and you can block the ads from a particular area and allow rest of them. This category also has two ways of activation one is through the SMS and another one by a call.

So many subscribers want to change the preferences or unsubscribe to this service and tend to deactivate the DND number. Just type the message like SMS><Space>< STOP to 1909 or you may call to the number 1909 and followed by IVRS instructions you can deactivate this DND service.

Conditions:-

• This activation process may took for seven days after receiving the confirmation message to the respected number.
• No service charges will be applied to this process
• DND cannot stop some service like Bank alerts, bank communications, online booking alerts, etc.
