IDEA DND: Activate / DeActivate Do Not Disturb Service Easily

What do you mean by the DND?

DND means Do Not Disturb, according to the TRAI a DND is a service that was provided to the consumer to avoid the unwanted calls and messages from the telemarketing agencies. There are so many consumers for a telecommunication industry from different service providers by the way all marketing agencies are preferred to call or send SMS about their advertisement. So the subscriber can activate his IDEA DND service or Deactivate IDEA DND service anytime. There are two categories for subscribing to this DND service. One of them is fully blocked in this you can block all type of adverting calls and SMS and another one is partially blocked in which you can block some of the services spots which you don’t deserve them.

PROCEDURE TO ACTIVATE THE IDEA DND SERVICE

We know that Idea cellular mobile network was from ADITYA BIRLA GROUP and also we know that it was the third largest telecommunication network in India. • Type a text message in the following format.
• Send this text to the 1909 number.
• You will get the conformation message.

FULL BLOCKING

For full blocking option, you can send a message to the customer care number for activating the DND service like this SMS><Space><START 0 to 1909 or make a call to the number1909 and follow the IVRS instructions and select the DND services and activate it to your number.

PARTIAL BLOCKING

There are seven preferences in the commercials they are listed below and the subscriber can stop receiving calls and SMS from the particular point of view. He/she can choose any one or multiple of preferences as their option.

1. Banking/Insurance/Financial products/credit cards
2. Real Estate
3. Education
4. Health
5. Consumer goods and automobiles
6. Communication / Broadcasting / Entertainment / IT
7. Tourism and Leisure

You can partially block the service by sending a message like this way SMS <Space> START X to 1909 and in the place of X, you can place your preference number as listed above for example you want to block the health service then chose your preference as 4, SMS START 4 to 1909. And you can select them in multiple like this SMS <Space> START X, X to 1909. Or make a call to the number 1909 & follow the IVRS instructions for selecting the partial blocking option in DND services and choose your preference options. DEACTIVATION OF IDEA DND SERVICES

Hey, guys, there is also deactivation services for those people who are interested towards the commercial ads via calls or SMS. You can also deactivate the DND service by sending the message in this format SMS< Space>STOP to 1909. Here this way you can stop the DND services by SMS or make a call to 1909 and followed by IVRS go for the option stop the DND service.

Conditions Apply

• Kindly, note that activation or Deactivation of the DND services to your Idea network can take place in the period of 7 days.
• DND service cannot STOP the bank alerts, communication, online booking and third party personal calling, etc.
• No service charges will be applied for DND Activation or Deactivation.
