Pilot Courses List:

There are many Types of Courses in pilot Training. All the Courses are Certified Courses, all these courses are licensed. That is these courses will be your License to become the Pilot.

Here are the courses List:

  • Private Pilot License
  • Private Pilot License +Commercial Pilot License
  • Commercial Pilot License for PPL holders.
  • STUDENT PILOT LICENSE (SPL)

Private Pilot License:

The Duration to get this pilot License is about 40 hours of flying, out of which 20 hours of solo flying.  It is important to pass in the following Subjects.

  • Air Regulation.
  • Air Navigation
  • Aviation Meteorology
  • Aircraft & Engines (General & Specific)

Requirements:   The Eligibility Criteria to get the training for this license is below:

  • Minimum age of 17 years is required
  • The applicant shall produce a Medical Assessment Certificate issued by Director General of
    Civil Aviation.
  • Applicant has to pass the flying tests and the above written examination conducted by Director

Commercial Pilot License for PPL holders:   

This is shortly termed as CPL.

Subjects Covered in this Course are:

  • Air Regulation.
  • Air Navigation
  • Aviation Meteorology
  • Aircraft & Engines (General & Specific)
  • Radio Telephone (Oral & Practical) conducted by Wireless and Planning Co-ordination Wing, New Delhi.

Requirement: Minimum flying hours required for the issue of the Commercial Pilot License is 200 hours within a period of 5 years.

Flight Radio Telephone Operators’ License:

Requirement:  Minimum age of 17 years

The applicant shall produce a Medical Assessment Certificate issued by Director General of
Civil Aviation.

Student Pilot License (SPL):

The subjects to be passed to get this License.

  • Air Regulation.
  • Air Navigation
  • Aviation Meteorology
  • Aircraft & Engines (General & Specific)

Fee Structure:  

The Fees of various Courses is here:

  • Fee from Trainee Pilots: Rs.12, 000/- per hour
  • Fee from Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Trainees: Rs.4000/- per Month
  • Renewal / Conversion of Licenses: Rs.12, 000/- per hour for pilots other than ex-trainees of the academy
  • Fee for Joy Ride: @ Rs.12, 000/- per hour
