Previously The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) called as the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWAI) is a foremost statutory professional accountancy body in India. The main objects of ICAI is promoting, regulating and developing the profession of Cost Accountancy. Also, ICWA course has turned into CMA course. There are different stages of Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA):
Entry level: Foundation course
First stage: Intermediate
Final stage: Final
You can take register yourself directly to CMA Foundation or CMA Intermediate level depending on your eligibility.
Foundation Course Structure
The ICWAI Foundation Examination consists of only theoretical examinations. There are 6 subjects to be considered prepared into 4 papers of 100 marks each. To pass a student has to obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers together. A student has to get through Foundation Course to be eligible to go to the next level i.e. INTERMEDIATE.
Eligibility
A candidate may appear for the CMA Foundation examination after passing the 10+2/plus two (twelfth standard) examinations.
Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto or has passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education
Required Documents:
- 10+2 Pass Certificate & Mark sheet.
- 3 Passport Size Photos.
- The certificate and photographs will be attested on the production of originals at the time of Admission.

Coaching fees including Registration fees with Cost of Study Materials – Rs 4,000/-
