Arjit Singh is a famous Indian play back singer born on 25th April 1987 in Jiaganj, Murshidadbad. His father, a LIC Agent was punjabi and his mother was bengali. His uncle is a tabla player whereas his maternal aunt is a classical singer. Arjit got his fame with the singing reality show on Sony Entertainment Television, ‘Fame Gurukul’ in 2005.
Career:
His first fame came with the reality show on sony television in which he lost in finals. His first break was by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, when they offered him to sing the song ‘All for One’ for ‘High School Musical’. Later, he became an assistant to Pritam. He sung numerous number of songs and won many awards

Arjit married koel roy on 20th January 2014 in Tarapith temple, West Bengal. She was his childhood friend.
