Sonu Agam Kumar Nigam popularly known as Sonu Nigam was born on 30 July 1973 in the city of Faridabad, Haryana. His parents were Agam Kumar Nigam and Shobha Agam Kumar Nigam. He started his singing at the age 4. He joined his father on stage to sing Mohammed rafi’s songs. He used to sing along with his father for events like wedding etc. At the age of 18, he moved to Mumbai along with his father and started his career. He sung numerous numbers of songs and won many awards like Filmfare etc.
Career:
Intially he has struggled in Mumbai as he was not getting playback opportunities. He did some radio commercials. He also did some playback work in films like ‘Aaja Meri Jaan’ (1992), ‘Shabnam’ (1993), ‘Aag’ (1994), ‘Khuddar’ (1994), ‘Hulchul’ (1994), ‘Stuntman’ (1994) and ‘Ram Jaane’ (1995). He also has many hit albums in his career. He recently appeared in sa Re Ga Ma Pa lil champs , show organized by Zee tv as a Judge.
