Nidhi Chauhan popularly known as Sunidhi Chauhan was born on 14th August 1983 in New Delhi. She was the participant in number of musical shows. She did her schooling in Greenway modern school. Her father was a theatre personality and her mother was a home maker. Her family shifted to Mumbai for her musical career. She then was introduced to Kalyanji Ananadji Bhai by Tabassum and later became the leading singer of their group called Little Wonders’ Troupe.
Career:
She made her career debut at the age of 13, with the song “Ladki Deewani Dekho” alongside Udit Narayan. In the same year she won a singing reality show.
In 1999 she worked with Ram gopal varma for the songs Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi” and “Suna Tha. Her second breakthrough was in the year 2000. Her musical career continued successfully. She sung numerous numbers of songs and won many awards like Filmfare etc.

She married director and choreographer bobby khan at the age of 18. But the marriage didn’t continue longer. Later she married her childhood friend and muisc composer hitesh sonik on April 12th 2012.
