About NDA Exam:

The full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. UPSC NDA Exam conducts twice in a year in the month of March and August for the need of eligible and qualified candidates in Indian Army Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. NDA Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board/University.

NDA Application fees

Candidate need to pay Rs. 100 whenever applying the application form for NDA Exam.

Payment of fee either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

National Defence Academy Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be divided into papers i.e. Paper I (Mathematics) Paper II (General Ability Test).
  • General Ability Test will be further divided into two parts that include English and General Knowledge.
