Getting back to the details of the post Manipur Educational State board was released a notification for the post of Office Assistant which was at first notified to be 178 and later on 22nd September the above said notification was modified and number of posts have been increased from 178 to 272. Interested candidate must be a qualified Graduate in any stream but candidates having Typing knowledge where given more importance.
SC/ST/OBC candidates were given age relaxation as per the reservation policy of the concerned state government. Candidate age must not be above 38 years as on the last date of submission of application. A written test will be conducted on 16th October 2016 from 11a.m to 1 p.m. examination centres will be notified to the candidates applied for the post.
Written test of 80 marks (80 questions will be held on the date of examination to test the knowledge of student in English, Mathematics and General knowledge) and 20 marks of questions will be on their knowledge in basic computer concepts. A non-refundable amount of Rs 500 is to be paid by General category students and Rs 250 for all the SC/ST/OBC candidates. Application fee can be paid through online mode at the time of submission of your application. Pay scale and eligibility of the students will be announced after the examination in which selected candidates are intimated regarding this status and thereby proceedings.
