JEE Main Exam Details: The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination. JEE Main Exam will be conducted in whole India. About JEE Main Exam

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is an all Indian Common Engineering Entrance Exam, which is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education).

JEE Main Exam is conducting for admission of students into various courses in different Engineering Colleges. This Exam is carried out in two phases. The Paper1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) of JEE Main and Paper 2 is called as JEE Advanced. The advance paper is carried out by 16 IIT colleges namely called Indian institutes of technology along with Indian School of Mines (ISM). After finishing the both papers the procedure of counseling carried out by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA). Seats will be allocated on the basis of AIR Ranks. JEE Main Exam Eligibility

Students appearing for JEE Main Exam must have passed class 12th (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in order to apply. However For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs & CFTIs Students must have secured at least 75% in their 12th class board exams (65% in case of SC/ST students).

JEE Main Exam Pattern

  • JEE Main has two papers.
  • Candidates have the option to take Paper-1, or Paper-2
  • JEE Main Paper 1 is for BE / B.Tech, Paper 2 is for B.Arch, B.Planning.
  • Both the papers are of 3 hours duration each.
  • Paper 1 has objective type with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  • Paper 2 has objective type questions for Mathematics (Part I) and Aptitude Test (Part II). Questions to test drawing aptitude are asked for Drawing Test (Part III)
