About GMAT Examination:
The full form of GMAT is Graduate Management Aptitude Admission Test. GMAT is a computer adaptive test that assesses a person’s analytical writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills for being admitted into a graduate management program.
It is a universally accepted entrance test that is conducted for those students, who want to get accepted to World’s competitive business schools for the courses of MBA, Master of Accountancy and Master of Finance programs.
Currently, 1,500 universities and institutions use GMAT’s score for selecting the students to their management programmes. This management entrance test is conducted round the year.
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) takes the responsibility of organizing the GMAT Exam. GMAC use to develop all the rules and the Graduate Management Admission Test Eligibility for the students taking part in the GMAT Exam process.
GMAT is conducted in two formats: computer-based exam and paper-based exam. In India, only the computer-based format is available. GMAT Exam Dates clearly given on its official notification.

Graduate Management Admission Test Eligibility
There are no specific Graduate Management Admission Test Eligibility norms for entrance exam. However, various universities or colleges which accept GMAT scores have their own criteria of admission.
GMAT scores are considered by the universities up to 5 years but it’s always better to have the scores as recent as possible (maximum 2 years).
Duration of the programme: MBA is of two years duration.

New Pattern for GMAT Exam
The examination will be on multiple choice type questions. Time duration is three hours. The GMAT exam consists of four sections: an analytical writing assessment, an integrated reasoning section, a quantitative section, and a verbal section.
