Information About BITSAT Exam: The BITSAT full form is Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT), it is a university level entrance test organized by Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), pilani. This test is conducted for admission into first year degree of various UG, PG courses like B.Tech, B.Pharma and M.Sc. courses. There are 3 major campuses for BITS they are Bits pilani campus, K.K.Birla Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus.    Nearly 2000 seats are offered for various programs. The exam will be conducted in 51 exam cities of India and Dubai. Every year notification will be released in the month of December .Interested candidates can apply online. BITSAT ELIGIBILITY:

  • Candidates willing to apply for BITSAT should have passed class 10+2 or equivalent exam (from any state or central board of school education) with 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  • Should have secured 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects.
  • Another requirement for appearing in BITSAT is Proficiency in English.
  • Only those candidates, who are appearing in class 12th in the year or have cleared 12th in 2016, are eligible for BITSAT.
  • Top rankers candidates with Rank 1 in the central or state boards in India and meeting the eligibility criteria will be offered admissions to the programs of their choice, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT.

BITSAT Exam Fee Details:

Application Fee for BITSAT Exam is Rs.2750/ for male candidates and Rs.2250/ for Female candidates.

If candidate has selected Dubai as a test center, the application fee will be US $60 (Rs.4000/-) for both male and female candidates.

The application fee payment can be done through net banking, credit/debit card or by cash payment at any branch of ICICI Bank.

BITSAT Registration:

The online Registration process for BITSAT will start from 2nd week of January.

Only Online mode is available for application. Candidates can visit the official website.

Initially Candidates are required to register and then they will be given the registration number and password.

With those registration number and password candidates need to logon and then application form will be displayed.

Fill the form with all the essential details.

Next step is the Fee payment.

This can be done through Credit card, debit card and Net banking and also E-challan from ICICI bank within India.

Finally, take the printout of the application form along with payment receipt for further use.

BITSAT Exam Pattern:

  • The CMAT Exam is a computer based test.
  • The question paper will contain 4 sections.
  • Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • There will be 150 questions.
  • For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded and there is a Negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
