Silambarasan Early Life:
Simbu was born on 3rd February 1983 in Chennai. Silambarasan is the son of actor, director & politician Vijay T.Rajendar and former actress Usha Rajendar.
Simbu is the eldest son in the family, he has younger brother named Kuralarasan and a younger sister Ilakkiya.
Silambarasan did his schooling in Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Shrine Vailankanni Matriculation Higher Secondary School, St.John’s International Residential School and Santhome Higher Secondary school, Chennai.
He then attended The Ashram School in Chennai.
Simbu did his Graduation from Loyola College, Chennai.
Career:
- Silambarasan made his acting debut in 1984 as a child artist in his father Rajendar Uravai Kaatha Kili, in which he acted in a friendly appearance.
- Later he appeared in many of his father`s movies, such as Thai Thangai Paasam, Oru Vasantha Geetham, En Thangai Kalyani, Enga Veetu Velan, Monisha En Monalisa, Oru Thayin Sabhatham, Samsara Sangeetham, Shanti Enathu Shanti, Pettredutha Pillai, Thiruvalla and Sabash Babu.
- In Samsara Sangeetham, Silambarasan danced to a song singing “I am a Little Star, Aaaven Naan Super Star.
- His first lead role was in Kadhal Azhivathillai.
- Later He appeared in Alai, Kovil and Kuththu.
- Then he was starred Manmadhan which he also wrote and co-directed. His next film was Thotti Jaya.
- He next starred and directed Vallavan. The drama film Vaanam and the masala film Osthe, Podaa Podi romantic drama film.
- He is also known for Tollywood audiende with his dubbed movies like Manmadha, Vallabha etc
