Minimum Passing Marks for CPT

Many people are asking about what is the qualifying marks for ca-cpt. So we are providing this revised marks requirement information. Effective from june 2013 this is very important information about the minimum passing marks in CPT exam. The candidate appearing to CPC have to secure a minimum 30% marks in each section and a total of 50%  marks in aggregate of all the four sections in one sitting to pass the common proficiency test. These are the revised minimum passing marks for cpt from june 2013.

Negative marking:

There are negative marks also 1/4 (one fourth) of the mark deducted for each and every wrong answer or multiple darkened circles.

So be careful before making answering an unknown answer because negative marking is there. Be prepared before examination to avoid unnecessary confusion in the examination.

A. Fundamentals of Accounting

B. Mercantile Laws

C. General Economics

Marks Details:

Maximum marks for Fundamentals of Accounting is 60 and minimum 18 ( i.e 30 % of 60 marks) marks are required.

Maximum marks for Mercantile Laws is 40 and minimum 12 ( i.e 30 % of 60 marks) marks are required.

Maximum marks for General Economics is 50 and minimum 15 ( i.e 30 % of 60 marks) marks are required.

Maximum marks for Quantitative aptitude is 50 and minimum 15 ( i.e 30 % of 60 marks) marks are required.
