N.T.Rama Rao Early Life:
Rama Rao Jr was born in Hyderabad on 20 May 1983 to Telugu film actor and politician Nandamuri Hari Krishna and Shalini Bhaskar Rao. He is the grandson of Telugu actor and former CM of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao. NTR did his schooling at Vidyaranya High School, Hyderabad and completed his Intermediate education at St. Mary’s College, Hyderabad. Tarak was a Trained Kuchupudi Dancer. He has won many awards during his school days, for his dance performance both in India and Abroad. He is the half-brother of actor and producer, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram,the nephew of actor and politician Nandamuri BalaKrishna and present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu. NTR has cousin’s actor Taraka Ratna and politician Nara Lokesh.
Career:
- NTR started his career in 1996 as a Child artist with the movie Bala Ramayanam in which he played the role Sri Rama. This movie has won National award as Best Children’s movie of the year.
- Earlier in 1991 he played a role in BrahmarshiViswamitra.
- His debut as a Hero was in 2000 with the movie NinnuChoodalni , then he was just 17.
- NTR got his first break through with the movie Student No 1 in the direction of Rajamouli.
- He next got his hit with V.V. VInayak’s Aadi. It was an action film and ran 200 days and was the highest grosser of the year just behind Chiranjeevi’s Indra.
- He later got failures with AllariRamudu, Naaga.
- Rajamouli again gave success to his career with Simhadri.
- He later faced continuous failures again with the movies Andrawala, Naa Alludu, Narasimhudu, Ashok, Samba.
- NTR later did a sentimental movie Rakhi. In which his acting can be considered as one of the finest act in his career.

- In 2009, Jr. NTR announced that he intended to donate 20 lakhs to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for taking up the relief operations for flood victims.
- In 2013 During Baadshah audio function, a fan died due to a heavy stampede, NTR along with producer Bandla Ganesh donated 5 lakhs to his family. Jr. NTR also promised to take care of his family, due to the fan’s sudden death.
- In 2014, Jr. NTR announced that he wanted to donate 20 lakhs to CM’s Relief Fund for carrying out relief operations for victims of Cyclone Hudhud in Andhra Pradesh.

N.T. Rama Rao Junior married Lakshmi on 5 May 2011 at Hitex Exhibition Center, Madhapur. Pranathi is the daughter of Srinivasa Rao, who is the owner of a news channel “Studio N”. Pranathi was also the relative of Jr NTR’s uncle, the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh ChandraBabu Naidu. The couple was blessed with a baby boy on 22 July 2014. They named him Abhay Ram.
