About KIITEE Exam

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination is the entrance examination which offers admissions to eligible candidates into the B.Tech courses offered in KIIT University.  The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) will be conducting KIITEE between the third week of April and fourth week of April.

Eligibility Criteria

eligibilityFor UG Course:

B.Tech/ B.Tech+ M.Tech (Biotechnology):

The candidate must qualify in the 10+2 or its equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology.

B.Tech (LE):

Candidates must qualify the three years diploma in engineering in the respective stream with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.

B.Arch:

  • Those who have completed 10+2 passed from a recognized board by securing 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics subject are eligible.
  • The candidate must pass in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by CoA, New Delhi.

BBA:

The Minimum qualification is 12th passed in any stream with Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of subjects.

B.A. LL.B./BBA.LL.B/B.SC.LL.B:

One should qualify the 10+2 examinations with at least 50% marks and should have Mathematics as one of the subject.

BCA:

One should qualify in the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks and should have Mathematics as one of the subject from a recognized board.

For PG Courses:

M.Tech:

B.E/B.Tech or its equivalent degree in respective branches of engineering from a recognized educational institution. The candidates must qualify in the GATE entrance test.

MCA:

Any graduate who passed with minimum 50% marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible.

MCA (LE):

The candidates who have passed graduation with 50% marks in BCA, B.Sc. from a recognized board are eligible.

L.L.M:

One should be passed B.A.LLB/ BBA LLB/B.Sc.LLB/B.L degree or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks.

M.Sc. Nursing:

  • The basic educational qualification should be B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc.
  • The candidate should be a registered Nurse with any Nursing Registration Council.

Ph.D:

M.Tech/ME/MCA/MBA or M.Sc./MA/M.Com/LLM or an equivalent degree with 55-6o% marks.

KIITEE Application

The online application form of KIITEE will be released in the 1st week of December 2017 by exam conducting authority. This application form will remain open for approximately three months.

Candidates have to verify the instructions before filling the Application form of KIITEE.

How to Apply Online

Step 2: The candidates can apply via online mode, they have to select the course they are seeking for and click on the submit button.

Step 3: After that candidate can click on Apply Online button to fill up the application form.

Step 4: Candidates have to fill the personal, educational qualification details in the form.

Step 5: Then click on Submit button.

Step 6: After successful submission, a page will be generated some details like Application number, Full name, Gender and Date of birth and candidate have to fill the required information.

Step 7: Candidates have to upload their photograph in the KIITEE application form.

Step 8: Next the application form should be sent along with the 10th pass Marksheet to the address which is mentioned below.

As per last year information, there is no application fee for KIITEE exam.

KIITEE Syllabus

syllabusThe syllabus of KIITEE varies from course to course. The syllabus for B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Sc. Nursing is based on 10+2 standard syllabus. For L.L.M the syllabus will be based on LL.B syllabus. And the M.Tech question paper will consist the questions of B.E/B.Tech of respective branch.

Exam Pattern

patternKIITEE exam pattern is different for different courses. Here we mention the exam pattern for various UG and PG courses offered by KIIT University.

  1. The duration of the exam will be three hours.
  2. This entrance test will be conducted through offline mode.
  3. The exam question paper will contain total 120 questions.
  4. Subjects for each course will be different.
  5. Each correct answer will be awarded four marks and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
