Karnataka State Police Notification: KSP (Karnataka State police) has published a notification at www.ksp.gov.in for Karnataka state police recruitment with 3382 civil police constable (Men & Women) posts and 1834 Armed Police Constable posts, 398 Sub Inspector posts, 90 Reserved Sub Inspector(wireless)and special reserve sub inspector posts.

Eligible candidates may apply online from 21st September and the last date for submission of online application is by 17th October. Other details regarding the notification like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and the application procedure are given below.

Armed Police Constable Posts & Sub Inspector Posts:
The applicant should posses SSLC/Intermediate (PUC)/Any Degree from the recognised university or state board. The age limit of the candidate is different for different job posts hence candidates are requested to check in all the details regarding the job in which you are interested, etc which will be discussed later on.
The applicants must notice the post which suit them and apply for the desire once. A written examination will be held followed by Endurance test, Physical Standards test and personal interview regardless of the job post. The last date of application fee is by 17th October 2016.

Eligibility Criteria as Per Karnataka State Police Notification
Education Qualification:
- For civil police constable: candidate should possess PUC/12th standard
- For Armed Police constable (Men): candidate should possess SSLC/Matriculation or its equivalent from the recognised university
- For Sub Inspector of Police (civil) (Men&women): candidate should possess Graduation or its equivalent in any stream
- For Armed Reserved Sub Inspector of Police (Car/ Den) (Men): candidate should possess Any Degree or its equivalent from the recognised university
- For Sub Inspector (Wireless) (Men & Women) NHK: candidate should possess Degree in science with a specialisation of Physics/Electronics/ computer science etc with a minimum of 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates
- Special Reserve Sub Inspector (KSRP) (Men): candidate should possess graduation or its equivalent from the recognised university.
Age Limit:
- For civil police constable: 19-25
- For Armed Police constable: 18-25
- For Sub Inspector of Police (civil) (Men&women): 21-28
- For Armed Reserved Sub Inspector of Police (Car/ Den) (Men): 21-26
- For Sub Inspector (Wireless) (Men & Women) NHK: 21-26
