What is DND? – Do Not Disturb
DND stands for ‘Do not disturb’ service and it was changed as NCPR (National consumer preference register) by the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India). There are two categories in the activation of the DND that is:
- Full activation or Full Blocking.
- Partial activation or partial blocking.
Full Activation of DND / Full Blocking

Step 4: within 24 Hours you will receive a confirmation code.
Full Blocking through the Call
- Make a call to 1909.

- Give response to the corresponding option until you reach the DND service.
- If you found the DND option then select the activation of DND service.
- That’s it your number is now registered for activation of DND.
Partial Activation of DND / Partial Blocking

- That’s it your number is now registered for Partial activation of DND.
Deactivation of the DND Service:
Many users are liked to change their idea from time to time. So you can also deactivate this service by a single SMS like SMS><Space>< STOP to 1909.
