Rana Daggupati Early Life:

Rana Daggupati was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was the son of producer Suresh Babu and Grand Son of legendary Producer D. Rama Naidu.

Rana did his schooling inVengal Rao Nagar in Hyderabad.

His college education was done at Chennai Film School and graduated in Industrial Photography.

He produced several documentaries and advertisement films in Chennai and Hyderabad for various brands during his education.

He also had proficiency in various facets of film-making.

His paternal Uncle Venkatesh and his maternal cousin Naga Chaitanya were also actors in Telugu Cinema.

Rana has a younger brother Abhiram and younger sister Malavika.

Career:

• Rana worked as a visual effect producer for the movie Sainikudu and has won Nandi award for special effects in 2006.
• He later produced a film Bommalata A bellyful of dreams which brought him National award for Best feature film.
• Rana made his acting debut with the movie Leader under the direction of ShekarKammula which was a hit.
• He later came up with the movie Naa ishtam which failed to attract audience.
• Rana Daggupati later starred in Krishnam vandheJagadgurum by Krish. This brought him success.
• He also made a special appearance as Sanjay in Tamil film Arrambam (2013).
• In 2015, he played a role in Gunasekhar’sRudhramadevi.
• Biggest Mile stone in his career was Bahubali.
• Recently he came up with naval Movie based on real incident named “The Ghazi Attack”. With which he received appreciations even from critics.
