About NEET

The full form of NEET is National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. NEET-UG is a entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in govt or private medical colleges in India.

NEET Exam will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for candidates seeking to get admission into BDS and MBBS programs. NEET Eligibility

  • The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
  • In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST or OBC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying exam be 40% instead of 50%.

NEET Application Fee

For Un-Reserved/OBC: Rs.1400/- (INR)

FOR SC/ST/PH: Rs.750/- (INR)

The NEET Application Fee can be paid through any Debit/ Credit Card using online payment gateway facility of Syndicate Bank / HDFC Bank /ICICI Bank /State Bank of India and through e-wallet of Common Services Center (CSC).

NEET Exam Pattern

  • NEET Exam will be conducted in a pen and paper based format.
  • As per the NEET Exam Pattern, the question paper will consist of 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
  • Each correct answer will fetch candidates 4 marks, whereas -1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The examination authority has precise NEET entrance exam duration 3 hours only from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM
  • Language – Both {English and Hindi}
