About KTET: KTET (Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) consist of 4 papers. KTET Paper I exam is for those who intends to be a teacher for Lower Primary classes, Paper II for Upper Primary classes, Paper III is for High School classes and Paper IV is for those who intends to be a language teacher up to Upper Primary classes. Candidates who meet the qualifications are eligible to appear in the Kerala TET Examination. KTET Exam Details

Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is the suitability examination conducted by Kerala State Examination Board. Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan Teacher Eligibility Test is organized once in a year. KTET Eligibility and Qualification

For Lower Primary Classes: Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary and Trained Teachers’ Certificate/ Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor of Elementary Education / Diploma in Education

For Upper Primary Classes: B.A/B.Sc/ B.Com and Trained Teachers’ Certificate / Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor of Elementary Education / Bachelor in Education

For High School Classes:

BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com and B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned. For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, must have possessed MSc.Ed Degree.

Category IV: As per Kerala Education Act and Rules

Application fee for KTET:

  • General category candidates need to pay application fee of Rs.500/-
  • SC/ST just have to pay application fee of Rs.250/-

Kerala TET Exam Pattern

Kerala TET Exam Cut off (or) Qualifying Marks

  • Kerala TET Exam Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which the candidates will have to score KTET 2017
  • A person  who  scores 60%  or  more  in  the  Kerala TET examination  will  be considered KTET passed or qualified

KTET Admit Card

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan Board is going to conduct the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test very shortly. Applicants who are going to appear in KTET 2017 can download their hall ticket before 15 to 20 days of KTET Exam Date. Candidates can download their KTET Admit Card by entering their Application Id/ Number through the link provided below.

KTET Results

After completion of the examination, the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will release the KTET Results on its official website www.keralapareekshabhavan.in.
