Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is a screen test that conducts to provide admission into Ph.D / Integrated Ph.D Program in Physics / Theoretical Computer Science / Neuroscience / Computational Biology. JEST is recognized as a National Eligibility Test (NET) by by the Science and Engineering Research Body (SERB) for sponsored programs and projects. Every year JEST is conducted for the PhD and Integrated PhD programmes for Physics and Theoretical Computer Science.

JEST Online Registration
To apply online, candidates must create an account using a valid email id. Email-ids are linked to the created account as well as to the application. This email id will help the applicants for communication purpose. To submit JEST 2017 Application Form online, candidates must login to the created account and complete the application form. After submission a unique number sent to your email id. Please save the all emails sent to you. To register yourself, click on the “register to appear for the exam” link in the Homepage of www.jest.org.in.
Fill the form and save it or modify the already saved form. Upload jpg files of your Passport size photo and scanned signature. Pay the application fee as per norms through online using the State Bank of India (SBI). Please check the IISER JEST Notification 2017 details of the payment process. After online submission of the application form and successful e-payment of fee, your JEST Online Registration procedure will be considered complete.
