CA CPT Registration 2016: ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) conducts the CPT Examinations twice a year in the months of June and December. CA CPT Registration is must to appear the examination. If you want to become a chartered accountant this CPT exam is the first step in this process. CPT means Common proficient test, you are eligible to write this exam after the completion of 10+2. This test has four subjects and CPT exam is an objective test. CA CPT Examination test is divided into two sessions for 200 marks and 2 hours for each.

You can register to CPC (common proficiency course) After qualifying in the 10^th standard exam conducted by examining body which is constituted by Indian Law or exam recognized by the Central government. The student has to complete his/her Intermediate (10+2) examination for writing CPT Exam.

CA CPT Registration Last Date for June 2016 Exam

The student has to register for CPT examination at least 60 days prior to the first day of the month in which exam is conducted. That means students who registered before 1^st April and 30^th September can write the examination on June and December.

All the candidates who are registered before 1^st April or 1^st October are eligible to appear in CPT held in June/December. In case the last date to register is a holiday, then the next working day will be considered as last date for registration of Common proficiency course.

The CPT registrations last date for June 2016 attempt is 31-3-2016.

Last date for Common proficient test Dec 2016 is 30-9-2016.

Now, print your registration from, attach the documents and send them to ICAI.

Students can buy the prospectus from all the regional offices/branches of the Institute. The CPT Registration from will comes along with the prospectus. In case you prefer other methods then you can visit the Institute website and download the CPR registration form.

Take a cpt registration fees dd in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at concerned Regional Office i.e. Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur or New Delhi”. If you downloaded the registration form add 100 Rupees or 10 US Dollars along with the registration fee for the supply of study packages along with prospectus copy. If you downloaded the CPT registration from online then you have to pay Rupees 6100 or 590 US Dollars in demand draft for cpt registration.

Attach the required documents and send them to ICAI.
