Atif Aslam Profile: Mohammad Atif Aslam popularly known as Atif Aslam is a famous pakistani singer. He was not only a Singer but was also a actor. His debut was in 2011 with social drama BOL. Atif Aslam was born in Punjabi Muslim family in Wazirabad, Punjab, Pakistan.
He did his schooling in Lahore and later in rawelpindi.
He was interested in music and cricket, but cricket more. He was a fast bowler. His passion and talent made him select in the Under 19 national team.
He used to perform in various and competitions held in the colleges and restaurants along with his friends.
He has been nominated for Filmfare, Zee , IIFA awards but didn’t win, hope he will win in future. He has many hits songs and albums in his career. He sung numerous numbers of songs and won many awards etc.
Career:
Later they formed into a band named as Jal. The band composed a music video named “Aadat”. Within very less time the Aadat became the most popular hit on the websites.
With the success of Aadat the Jal started the tour of Pakistan. But due to personal problems Aslam and Mumtaz lead to indefinite break. With this Aslam started his solo career whereas Mumtaz continued with the name Jal.
In 17 July 2004, Aslam released his first album with the title Jal Pari. It was a huge hit. Many singles from this album were famous and hit the charts.
His first break was from Zeher 2005.
He also recorded many songs for Hindi Movies and they were also hits.
Later he released two more albums Doorie and Meri Kahani which were also successful albums.
He made special appearances in many songs.
He has also appeared as mentor for Television show Sur Kshetra.
Personal Life:
Aslam married his girlfriend, Sara Bharwana, educationist, in Lahore on 29 March 2013. The couple welcomed their son in 2014.
